No idea how long this took; worked on it in bits and pieces through the semester. I started out wanting to do something detailed and paintery, and ended up with--as usual--a sloppy bg and no idea what it is supposed to be. I didn't actually have any kind of vision for this, although the original concept was a bit more depressing. It's been worked and reworked so often I can't even look at it anymore. No doubt in a few weeks I'll come back and be all "...what?" but this is the only thing I've worked past the doodle stage for a really long time, and I suppose I should put it in my gallery. I always used to say that I could care about either art or politics, and I chose art; well, lately I've been choosing politics.
Oh, wow. This is really cool. I always get so excited to see you put up art. Also, this is going to seem really ignorant but I just saw a picture of a luna moth for the first time the other day. Until then that point I'd just though they were a regular moth flying around at night. D:
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
