This is Peaches, one of the rats from The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents by Terry Pratchett.
Really excellent book.
The rat-speak translates to 'We are the Changelings. We are not like other rats.'
I thought that rather summarized their whole struggle throughout the book.
No ref.
you're right, that is the main struggle. hadn't thought of that.

I like it, I may have some actual critique, but first what was the medium? I don't want to be saying anything stupid, so I shouldn't say anything unless I at least kind of know what I'm talking about. Was it pencil and paper and then scanned? I hope you're having a good summer. My brothers and I all read that book. I told you I would eventually commment properly, but this is all for now because I have class at 8 tomorrow. Khalid B. Kunji
Ok, the proportions seem right (assuming that the peach's writing utensil is not a pencil). The tail might be a little on the thick side though. The main thing is that it seems blurred. It could be from the scanning process, or the lead could have been smudged. If it was the lead, the I guess I would just say to be careful, though I know I end up smudging most things I draw. Maybe use a harder lead for parts, or sharper pencil, some parts just seem like they somewhat sharper lines. Overall it's quite good though. :thumb5765372:
It should say, "some parts just seem like they could use somewhat sharper lines." Rather than, "some parts just seem like they somewhat sharper lines." Also, I don't really know what the ":thumb5765372:" is from, oh well.
I loved that book, you can read it on so many levels. The parts I liked the most were those in which you could see the rats changing (when they began to fear the dark, for example), so I really like your choiche. And the soft lines fit well Peaches.
